Solent Day Cruise Experiences on board one of our Luxurious Flybridge or Sports Motor Cruisers. Choose from half day outings in the Solent or full day excursions around the Isle of Wight.
Half Day Solent Cruise
Your Experience will start when you are greeted by Java Beans skipper at Gunwharfe Quays under the spectacular Spinnaker Tower. Your afternoon, or morning, will consist of a 3 hour cruise passing Cowes, Hurst Point, Alum Bay and the Needles. Participants will have the opportunity to take control of Java Bean. Lunch and soft drinks will be provided, and all fuel and mooring charges are included in the price.
For Morning Cruises, departure will be at 0900, returning at 1230.
Afternoon departures will be at 1300, returning at 1630.
Full Day Round the Island Cruise
This Experience consists of a 6 hour cruise departing from a Solent Marina of your choice. After the safety brief, on board your craft, you will depart and be invited to take control of the helm in man overboard drills. The cruise will then commence, passing famous spots like Bembridge, Nab Tower, Sandown Bay, St Catherine's Point, Freshwater Bay, The Needles, Alum Bay, Hurst Point, Cowes and returning to Portsmouth. A generous buffet lunch and soft drinks will be provided.
Departure will be at 0900, returning at 1600.
Weather:
Occasionally, the weather may affect this experience. Should this force cancellation, an alternative date will be scheduled.
Numbers:
There will be a maximum of six people on board plus skipper and host.
Dress code:
Please dress suitably for the weather on the day.
